If you need to make a claim it means you’ve experienced a traumatic event and we understand how stressful that can be. The last thing you need is an inefficient claims service that prolongs the process of reaching a fair settlement. Replacement Vehicle Service

Academy Assist has access to a UK wide network of over 35,000 vehicles that include private cars, commercial vehicles, taxis and motorcycles. Our vehicles can be delivered to your home or collected from over 300 depots across the UK

Vehicle Repairs

Once an assessment of your claim has been made repairs to your vehicle can be authorised to your chosen repairer. When we authorise repairs you don’t have to pay any excess that might be due under your policy as we will claim it directly from the other party.

Litigation Service

If legal proceedings are necessary in achieving the right settlement for you Academy Assist will instruct a qualified solicitor to deal with your claim at no cost to you.

If you’re involved in an accident:

  • Keep calm - do not admit liability
  • Call 999 if emergency services are needed
  • Exchange names, addresses and insurance details
  • Note down everything you can - all witnesses, vehicles, locations, damage and accident circumstances
  • Note down the make, model, colour and registration of every vehicle involved
  • Draw a sketch of the scene and take photos if possible

Vehicle Glass Replacement or Repair

National Mobile Windscreens has formal direct billing facilities with nearly every Insurance Company.

Subject to the terms of the policy, most Policyholders need only pay the excess applicable to their policy; all other costs are billed directly to your insurer.

Your Certificate of Insurance needs to be available for inspection by our engineer before the vehicle glass can be replaced. Please note that generally cover notes are not acceptable for Direct Billing arrangements.

Policyholders who are VAT registered will be required to pay VAT on the total invoice value.
